MoneySavingExpert Martin Lewis has explained how the government's latest travel ban could affect already-booked holidays. The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) on Saturday released new guidance that warns against all non-essential global travel indefinitely.
Originally, the travel restriction applied for 30 days from March 17, but now the FCO has extended its advice to 'indefinitely' as the coronavirus pandemic continues to unfold.
Holidays and trips are not considered essential, therefore it's most likely your planned break has already been cancelled, or you may still need to apply to cancel it and receive a refund.
