Mountains of rubbish have been left on Bournemouth beach after many sun-seekers visited it this week. Plastic bags, bottles and picnic leftovers were seen scattered across the sand.
Some of the rubbish also includes take-away bags and containers as well as cans. Other pictures show bins overflowing and tents set up on the beach.
Thousands of people flocked to the seaside to enjoy the warm weather yesterday - the hottest day of the year so far. During the day, a major incident was declared by the local council in Bournemouth, urging sun-seekers to stay away from a packed beach.
