Mrs Brown's Boys looks set to have Christmas specials depicting the impact of Covid-19 and a break-in. The BBC One comedy will be back in the festive television line-up for two 2020 special episodes, led by star and show creator Brendan O'Carroll.
Teasing the episodes, Brendan told Sunday World: "For Christmas Day show it's a quiet household at the Browns. "With Covid restrictions, visitors are few, although nobody can dent Agnes' usual devotion to the holiday." Mrs Brown's beloved Christmas tree sounds like it may have been through the ringer too as it may be "recovering from Covid".
