Prosecuting, Iain Criddle, said Welch "kicked the door" and "spat and licked the window" and said she had "coronavirus and wanted to give it to staff."Welch attempted to leave the scene but police caught up to her and arrested her in Smithfield Street.She was questioned whether she had anything on her, and produced a screwdriver, but denied having any needles, and asked if she could smoke a cigarette in her pocket.The cop refused, and Welch became "angry and aggressive,” so was put in the police car, before hurling abuse at a young female officer.Mr Criddle said: “She said words to the effect of I don't give a s*** what you do to me, I don't care, she became red in the face, she threw her glasses towards the officers.
