Canadian rapper Nav opened up on the ‘crazy’ racism he endures in the music industry, discussing ‘an element of a race wall.’ The Habits singer had been receiving a lot of comments from DJ Akademiks and people in general and thinks it might be because he’s Indian. ‘For sure,’ Nav, full name Navraj Goraya, agreed with Complex on the racism in the industry. ‘It’s just like, [people] saying my music is for people who work in 7-11s or some sh*t like that. ‘It’s crazy… It’s offensive.’ In his latest album, Good Intentions, the rapper addresses the hate he receives in his track Brown Boy. ‘What people think about me don’t get me paid,’ he continued. ‘I don’t care, but there’s an element of a race wall.
