Celtic fans didn’t let a global pandemic stop them from celebrating being handed the league title yesterday. Scores of supporters headed to Parkhead following the announcement that Neil Lennon ’s side had won the Premiership for the ninth time in a row.

The decision came after weeks of talks between SPFL chiefs and top flight clubs when the season was abandoned due to coronavirus.And despite club chiefs urging supporters to celebrate at home yesterday, delighted fans couldn’t resist visiting their ground to mark the occasion under the watchful eye of police, dispatched to ensure social distancing was being adhered to.
