Neighbours mow giant NHS sign into grass in honour of NHS heroes

Neighbours living on a Blantyre street have proven to be a cut above the rest when it comes to honouring our NHS heroes.Brian Neil, 51, has paid homage to the county’s NHS staff  by mowing a huge NHS into the grass patch between Sutherland Street and Millheugh Place, High Blantyre.And neighbour Del Morrison, 33, was happy to help with the grass cutting.The pair thought it was the perfect way to show their support for everyone working within the NHS, putting lives at risk daily during the coronavirus pandemic.Butcher Brian, who works at D&J Butcher’s in High Blantyre, explained: “I noticed Del was out cutting one of the neighbours grass one day due to the council not being able to attend and that’s when I came up with the idea of cutting a
