A young East Kilbride woman has braved the shave in support of our NHS heroes. Katie McGough, 23, wanted to give something back to the frontline staff risking their lives to keep the country safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic so she decided to shave her head live on Facebook.And her hair-raising fundraiser proved to be a cut above, with donations flooding in, doubling her initial target for Lanarkshire Health Board Endowment Funds to nearly £1000.Katie, from East Mains, said: “I decided to shave my head to raise money and support the NHS for the amazing job they are doing during the COVID-19 pandemic.“I stand out on the balcony of my flat on a Thursday night at 8pm to listen to everyone clapping, cheering, banging pots and pans, car horns
