New Covid vaccination clinics opening in Rochdale at weekend

For the latest Rochdale news sign up to the MyRochdale newsletter here Extra coronavirus vaccination clinics are to open in Rochdale this weekend to help stop the spread of the disease.

While cases in Rochdale have gone down slightly by 13 per cent in the last week, more than 16,000 people in the highest priority groups for eligibility of the vaccination in the borough are yet to receive their first dose.

Anyone aged 18 or above and eligible is now being encouraged to visit one of the five new clinics opening up at various times over the weekend (May 22-23).

The pop-up clinics will be held at Rochdale Football Club, Rochdale Infirmary, Kashmiri Youth Project centre, Bowlee Park Community School and Wardleworth Community Centre.
