Moving footage showing hundreds of NHS workers gathered outside a hospital to pay an emotional tribute to a surgeon and colleague who died from coronavirus.
Sadeq Elhowsh, an orthopaedic surgeon and dad-of-four, died on Monday from the deadly disease which has killed more than 17,000 Brits.
The clip, captured on Tuesday, outside Whiston Hospital near Liverpool shows Sadeq's co-workers clapping for their much-loved colleague.
A hearse containing the 58-year-old surgeon's coffin was driven past the hospital entrance, where people had gathered to pay their respects.
