Nicola Sturgeon has confirmed five people have died overnight after testing positive for coronavirus.The First Minister also announced 928 new cases of coronavirus in Scotland over the past 24 hours bringing the total number of cases since start of the pandemic to 186,720.The Scottish Government unveiled the figures meaning there has now been 6,443 deaths in Scotland since last March from the virus.There are 1, 672 people in hospital with recently confirmed COVID-19 and 108 in intensive care.Yesterday Health Secretary Jeane Freeaman said all Scots could be vaccinated against coronavirus “in the summer”.However she refused to say what that could mean in terms of restrictions being lifted – simply reiterating the Government would be focused.
