But the former Oasis lead singer, 52, had no qualms admitting he had been panic buying booze in the coronavirus crisis gripping the UK and the rest of the world.
He told the Funny How? podcast: “I’ve been panic buying booze.” The singer has been holed up in his house with wife Sara MacDonald and their kids.
Noel confessed he had to stockpile on booze because it was how he was going to cope with isolation. He said: “Now that the pubs are shut the only thing to now is to drink your way through it.
