Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.North Lanarkshire recorded its lowest level of weekly deaths in figures released last week at three – one of which occurred in the region’s care homes.A revision in the data provided by the National Records of Scotland shows that three deaths were recorded in North Lanarkshire for the previous week as well and not four as previously reported.As a result, there have been 263 deaths where coronavirus was listed on the death certificate in North Lanarkshire.
Of those, 92 were in care homes, 148 in hospital and 23 were in other settings including at home.South Lanarkshire recorded five deaths for the second week running – the third largest in the country.Only Glasgow.
