The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Irish hospitals has fallen in the past 24 hours according to figures released by the Health Service Executive.
Last night there were 115 confirmed cases, compared with 122 the day before. It is just over 100 days since the first case of coronavirus was reported here and the country has now moved into the second phase of the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.
The latest figures from the HSE show that there are now 115 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in acute hospitals, down from 122 the previous day.
There are 34 Covid-19 patients in critical care beds. Research conducted by the Department of Health showed that 62% of adults here now believe the worst of the pandemic is over.
