One of Britain’s youngest coronavirus victims has today been named as a 22-year-old university student. Kapalu Musenyesa was discovered lifeless in his north London flat after succumbing to the deadly bug.
The young man, who was from Zambia, was studying at Middlesex University. His devastated family were understood to have flown from southern Africa for their son’s funeral yesterday.
Friends said Mr Musenyesa - known as Kaps - was discovered dead on April 20, just hours after complaining about fever and breathing difficulties.
Family friend Agnes Mutale wrote on a page raising funds for the funeral: “Kapalu, a 22 year old international student from Zambia, was found dead in his room. “He was studying business studies at Middlesex
