UPDATE: Opera singer Plácido Domingo was hospitalized in Mexico on Saturday after complications related to the coronavirus.
In a statement given to media, a spokesperson for Domingo said that he is in stable condition. He will remain in the hospital “as long as the doctors find it necessary until a hoped-for full recovery.” Last week, Domingo posted on Facebook last week that he tested positive for COVID-19.
