Orlando Bloom has gushed over the NHS for saving his life. Backing the health service, the actor implored the British public to stay home.
The Canterbury-born star, 43, has thanked the National Health Service for saving his life when he fell out of a window in a horrific incident more than 21 years ago.
He confessed he broke his back in the fall when he was 20 before he was launched into stardom. Orlando had been attending the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1998 when he fell three stories from a window and broke his back.
NHS doctors and nurses battled to save his life and despite fears he would be permanently paralysed, he quickly recovered and returned to the stage.
