Outside Lands, one of biggest independent music festivals in North America, will "not proceed with the originally scheduled 2020 edition," according to a June 24 press release from organizers Another Planet Entertainment, Superfly, and Starr Hill Presents.
The annual multi-stage celebration of food, wine, cannabis and culture in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park is the latest victim of COVID-19 pandemic.
But fear not, Outside Lands music fans. The festival will return Aug. 6-8, 2021, which will include Lizzo, Tame Impala and The Strokes as headliners.
Also returning next year is Grass Lands, the first curated cannabis experience at a major American music festival, where fans can purchase a large array of cannabis products.
