ARLINGTON, Texas – San Diego Padres manager Jayce Tingler was ejected by home plate umpire Lance Barrett in the sixth inning of Game 1 of the NL Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers while making his sixth pitching change Tuesday night.It wasn't clear why Tingler was thrown out for the second time in his rookie season leading the Padres.

Tingler was tossed while replacing reliever Garrett Richards just after the Dodgers' first hit, a double by Mookie Betts.The Padres sent a parade of relievers to the mound after Mike Clevinger left the game after throwing his second pitch of the second inning.
