Paul Pogba has been forced to pull out of the France squad after testing positive for coronavirus. Les Bleus face Sweden and Croatia in the Nations League next month, and the squad was announced today.
However there was a last-minute change as Pogba returned a positive COVID test. Unveiling his France squad Deschamps announced: "At the last minute I had to make a change to the list. "Paul Pogba was intended to be on the list, but unfortunately he did a test yesterday which came back positive this morning."As a result he's been replaced by Eduardo Camavinga."Rennes midfielder Camavinga is just 17, and is the youngest player to be called up by Les Bleus since the Second World War.
