The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland has called for hope for those suffering from Covid-19 this Easter. Rt Rev Dr William Henry says the peak number of confirmed virus cases is estimated to occur over the Easter weekend, which is the peak of the Christian Gospel.
In his Easter address published today, Reverend Henry says hope needs to be made real in caring and compassion towards others.
The Easter story may begin in the darkness, but it ends in light according to the Catholic and Church of Ireland Archbishops.
In a joint statement Archbishop Eamon Martin and Archbishop-elect John McDowell have said the story could easily describe the world for the last number of weeks as the Covid-19 pandemic has taken hold. "What once
