People who are yet to receive a first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine are being urged to attend a walk-in vaccination clinic this weekend.
There are a 43 vaccination clinics in operation around the country this weekend, with 38 operating as walk-in clinics. Anyone over the age of 16 who is not yet vaccinated can access the service.
Vaccinators will be administering a first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for attendees. Those who have already registered online and are awaiting a vaccine can choose to go to a walk-in clinic instead.
The Chief Executive of the HSE, Paul Reid, has said that these centres - and test centres -will "play a key role this weekend".
