Devastating last words of man who 'had enough' and took his own life during lockdown
Lancashire Telegraph.Derek Bailey left two hand written notes on the kitchen table, before he took his own life on March 30 at his home on Rickard Road, Nelson.He was found dead after a neighbour noticed a letter in his window which read: "Do not enter, phone the police."Neighbour, Margaret Rhodes was sent to check on Mr Bailey after he failed to phone his mother and his sister became worried.Cops were called and entered the property through force, finding Mr Bailey on the floor next to his bed with empty pill packets next to him.Coroner James Newman said at an inquest which took place in Preston: "In the notes he clearly indicates an intention to take his own life and writes, 'sorry I have had enough'."Mr Bailey had taken a high-level of
