Perth-based community council rolls out Easter egg boxes to spread some joy amid pandemic

Kind-hearted North Inch and Muirton Community Council has come up with an eggs-ceptional idea for Easter.Following on from the success of its Give and Take boxes, which received global interest, the group has just rolled out an Easter egg box where locals can share Easter eggs with the local community.It has been installed at the junction of Balhousie Street and Carnegie Place.The eye-catching box is brightly decorated with gorgeous pictures of bunnies and eggs and a message encouraging Easter bunnies to leave some eggs.It was decorated by talented local residents Mary Golden, a landscape and visual artist, and Donna Mackay, owner of Little Dittys.Emma Oram, community councillor for North Inch and Muirton, told the Perthshire Advertiser
