Pfizer statement after regulators warn people with 'significant' allergies not to currently take Covid-19 vaccine

direct to your inbox Pfizer have said the coronavirus vaccine was "well tolerated" during the trials with "no serious safety concerns" after UK regulators issued a a warning for people who have a history of "significant" allergic reactions not to currently take it.

The NHS began the Covid-19 jab roll-out on Tuesday (December 8) to people aged 80 and over as well as frontline medical staff.But following their vaccinations, two NHS workers who received the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine suffered a reaction.It is understood both have a significant history of allergic reactions – to the extent where they need to carry an adrenaline auto-injector with them.
