He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan  blasted US President  Donald Trump  on Good Morning Britain today as he returned to the The White House where he claimed "we're gonna beat" the virus.

Last week, Trump revealed that he and his wife Melania had tested positive for  coronavirus  before being admitted to a hospital a day later.

And just a few days later, the president says he is "feeling great" and better than ever, after being treated for the virus.And now, after returning to The White House, he is now speaking out and telling the US public not to fear the virus, and not to let it "dominate their lives".

But the  Good Morning Britain  was having none of this and slammed the idea of him being a role model, before branding him a "super spreader" of the virus..
