Police have blown the whistle on ridiculous excuses given for breaking coronavirus lockdown rules which have included shopping for a trampoline and Pokemon hunting.
It comes after lockdown rebels were seen flouting government guidelines at the start of the Easter weekend by sunbathing on beaches and barbecuing in parks.
One family said they were playing Pokemon Go when quizzed by officers on April 7 at a West Midlands park in Coventry. The smash hit game, with more than one billion downloads worldwide, involves players tracking down and catching Pokemon characters such as Jigglypuff and Pikachu by scouring the streets for them.
