PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in Kensington.It happened on the 800 block of East Allegheny Avenue around 9:15 p.m.

Friday.According to police, a 35-year-old man was shot multiple times. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he died.Police say a man has been taken into custody and a weapon has been recovered.This is a developing story.

KENSINGTON - A man has died after he was struck by a vehicle in Kensington Wednesday.According to officials, the man was standing at the corner of B Street and East Venango Street Wednesday, just before 1:30 in the afternoon, when a white Honda Accord, heading south on B Street, reportedly struck the man.Police say the driver did not remain at the scene, but continued to drive south on B Street.Medics rushed the man to Temple University Hospital.
