Premier League offered chance to finish season in Australia after political backing

Premier League bosses have been told that they could finish the season in Australia, nearly 9,000 miles away, if need be. Officials are still scratching their heads over the current situation, one that has never been seen before.

There are still 92 games to be played before the end of the season amid the coronavirus crisis. Yet to be decided are what clubs will finish in a Champions League spot, who will go down to the Championship and who will win the Premier League.

Liverpool are 25 points clear of Manchester City but need three more wins to be crowned champions. But it does not appear that matches are coming anytime soon with clubs against measures being offered to them by Prem chiefs.
