Channel 4 delay new porn drama after deeming it 'too x-rated' to air before 10pm

Channel 4 ’s new porn drama Adult Material has been put on hold as it’s far too dirty to air until 10pm. The new drama was due to air this spring, but because of its X-rated content Channel 4 has decided to move its screening date all the way to autumn.

And the current situation surrounding the pandemic makes it harder the new show to compete with current main runs on BBC and ITV.

The daily Covid-19 updates are racking up a whopping 6.5 million views - meaning people are less likely to tune into the show whilst the news is on.

A TV insider told Sun Online : “Channel 4 are incredibly proud of this brave drama and see it as one of the jewels in the crown of its TV shows in 2020.
