pub industry is demanding answers from the Prime Minister by Friday on whether they can open next month as they have been "left in limbo." Brewery and pub bosses have written to Boris Johnson stating the industry has reached a "crisis point" and needs to know whether they can open from July 4.
This comes as it was reported last week some of the most popular pubs in the north-west of England may never reopen after coronavirus lockdown, with the company that owns some of them going into administration.Companies who are now urging the government for clarity include international, regional, family and independent brewers, as well and national and regional pub operators.
