Boris Johnson is expected to announce the further easing of lockdown today as he gives the go-ahead for entertainment outlets across England to reopen again from next month.

Museums and cinemas will be able to welcome visitors from July 4, with the Government today also set to unveil a plan for pubs, restaurants and hairdressers.

The announcement comes as hundreds of hospitality businesses have warned they will collapse without a provisional reopening date from ministers.

Under measures set to be announced, friends and family may finally be allowed to dine and drink in public with their social bubbles.
