The Queen has been wished a happy birthday by her fellow Royal Family members as she celebrates turning 94 in lockdown. Her Majesty will today mark her birthday in isolation with Prince Philip, 98, at their Berkshire residence Windsor Castle.

Daily Star Online reported yesterday how the Queen will be thrown a virtual birthday party during the coronavirus lockdown. She had initially been se tot mark her big day with a big public celebration – including gun salutes in Hyde Park and the Tower of London.

She was also set to enjoy a massive bash in June with the Trooping of the Colour which would have seen RAF jets fly over her Buckingham Palace home.
