The Holy Month of Ramadan is nearly upon us, with the dates of the beginning to be announced on Thursday. The moon committee will meet to look for the crescent moon, and announce the sighting.
It's expected that Ramadan will begin on Friday, April 24 2020. While lock-down measures will remain in place for COVID-19 for the next week, iftar delivery options are available from food outlets.
The Ramadan cannons will be televised to mark iftar but will not be available for public viewing in person, as measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Working hours for the federal sector (public) have been confirmed as 9am-2pm daily. It's expected that private sector will be a reduction of two hours per day from normal working hours. MALLS AND
