Rangers' Europa League date 'planned' as UEFA prepare to play Bayer Leverkusen clash next season

Rangers could be forced to play their Europa League last 16 second clash with Bayer Leverkusen next season - according to a report.

The Ibrox side are currently 3-1 down to the German giants with the game played the day before the UK shutdown all football due to the coronavirus epidemic.

Many expected the Europa League - and the Champions League - to end up scrapped this season but Rangers could play their second leg in September with UEFA determined to complete the tournament.

The Scottish Sun say that UEFA will play the current tournament from September next season with plans to finish it by October.
