Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga have been left devastated after their dad Giacinto Gorga died, which they both confirmed on Instagram today.

Teresa has been asking her followers for prayers for her dad in recent days after he became unwell, however today she announced that he had sadly passed away.

In a tribute, she wrote: "My father, my protector, my hero, God took you early this morning to be with mommy, I saw you peacefully pass and I know you kept fighting for my daughters and I.
