Teresa Giudice confirmed on Friday (April 3) that her father, Giacinto Gorga, known to fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey as Nonno (meaning "grandfather" in Italian), passed away.

Her brother, Joe Gorga, also paid tribute to their father on the same day she shared the sad news. "I can’t believe he is gone.

The world lost an amazing man [and] human being today," Joe wrote on Instagram about his dad. "He was exactly what a true father and husband should be.

I will miss you more than you know. But go find your wife because I know that’s all you want and all you’ve ever talked about for the past 3 years.
