Police officers dispersed an illegal DJ party attended by "many hundreds" of people who flouted lockdown measures. Revellers gathered in Clapton, east London, late yesterday night amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Photos posted on social media show crowds partying in the street with a DJ playing. Hackney Police deployed a helicopter to the scene to break up the party at midnight last night.
The force tweeted: "There is a large scale unlicensed music event in a residential street in E5 involving many hundreds of revellers.
