Rob Burrow wants to play his part in the battle against Motor Neurone Disease after revealing the impact the coronavirus pandemic is having on research into the condition.

Now he is getting behind a push for the Government to accelerate approval for a new treatment for the disease, NurOwn, that has passed the first two phases of three stage trials in America.
An online petition has racked up over 25,000 signatures in a matter of days, with the target being 100,000 so that it will be considered for debate in Parliament.
