The woman, who lives in Rochdale, is just one of a 'number of people' to be slapped with a huge fine by police after failing to self-isolate.

Current rules mean that if you live in the same household as somebody with Covid-19 you must stay at home in quarantine too.

Today, Beverley Hughes - Greater Manchester's deputy mayor for Policing, Crime, Criminal Justice and Fire, revealed that others have also been fined £5,000 for not self-isolating at the Airport.
