There have been many events all around the world which have been cancelled or rescheduled due the ongoing health crisis and the Rose of Tralee is no different.
The popular contest which takes place in Co Kerry every August will possibly be postponed until September. There are usually 32 roses who take part every year, coming from all over the world, however, organisers are struggling to put the event together because of the global pandemic.
Only six roses have been chosen for the competition so far and now heats which were due to take place in April, May and June have all been postponed indefinitely.
As there is no way to know how many roses will be able to travel to Tralee in September, there is talk that some of them will join the contest
