Ross Kemp says Barbara Windsor 'doesn't even know who she is' after lockdown deterioration

Ross Kemp spoke about his former on-screen mum, Dame Barbara Windsor's heartbreaking dementia battle on Good Morning Britain today.

Ross, who used to play Grant Mitchell in the BBC soap EastEnders, said Peggy Mitchell star Barbara, 82, doesn't even know who she is anymore, with her health declining in lockdown.

He also said she will almost definitely end up in a care home soon.Speaking to GMB presenters Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid about Barbara's health, Ross said: "I saw her before lockdown in February, but haven't seen her since because of social distancing,"She's vulnerable so I haven't seen her but I've been in contact with her husband Scott."Susanna, 49, asked: "It must be agonising for Scott.
