Good Morning Britain resident Dr Hilary Jones has warned that people should not forget that the fight against the coronavirus is ongoing.
He said that "nothing has changed", despite the fact the government is gradually easing lockdown meaning the public can do more things freely. The television doctor spoke to GMB hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid today (Monday) about the potential for a second wave and why it was important that people didn't stop caring about the guidelines in place. He said: "We are concerned because we haven't come out of the first peak, we are still seeing new cases, several thousand every day."People still need to socially distance and wash their hands and if people aren't behaving correctly then the virus will.
