For anyone worried that Santa Claus might be grounded this Christmas Eve due to the pandemic, it looks like he is actually immune to Covid-19 due to his 'santy-bodies'.
A professor of Comparative Immunology at Trinity College Dublin believes Santa could be one of a rare group of people who are resistant to viral infection.
Professor Cliona O'Farrelly said some some people who get exposed to viruses do not get infected and experts are convinced that Santa has 'santy-bodies' and a special immune system.
She added that Santa has his helpers on the outside (the elves) and experts are sure he has particularly effective T-cells ( working inside his body) keeping him safe.
