While most of us like the idea of retail therapy, trying clothes on has become a no go as shops start to reopen now the UK's coronavirus lockdown is being eased.
And even when we could try clothes on before we buy, it's not always the most pleasant experience. The fitting rooms are tiny, often too hot and most of the time have unflattering lighting - not the best start way to a shopping trip.
And jeans can be by far the most challenging item of clothing to stock up on. If they fit your legs, the chances are they won't fit your waist and vice versa, which means it's almost impossible to get away with buying them before trying them on.
