Scots cops seize £1m dirty cash, £2.5m drugs and guns in series of property raids

Police have seized a range of illicit goods - including drugs, guns and dirty money - after a series of raids in Scotland in recent weeks.

Officers carried out specialist operations in Glasgow, Lenzie, Hamilton, East Kilbride and Gartcosh. Around 64 kilograms of Class A drugs worth an estimated street value of £2.65 million were recovered by specialist organised crime teams.

An excess of £1 million dirty money was also found, in addition to firearms, stolen vehicles and jewellery.
