Scots gran-of-five receives hero's reception after miraculous Covid-19 recovery

This is the moment when a Bishopbriggs granny was given a hero's welcome as she returned home after a lengthy battle against coronavirus.

Jane Duncanson spent 40 days at Glasgow Royal Infirmary after she came down with Covid-19 symptoms. The 66-year-old, who has no underlying health conditions, had to be transferred to an intensive care unit where she received more than four weeks of round-the-clock treatment.

Doctors were then forced to hook the grandmother-of-five up to a ventilator for 24 days as her condition worsened, reports Glasgow Live.
