Scots kids in coronavirus lockdown can get access to a whole host of audio books read by famous voices, for free. More than 200 child-friendly books are now accessible to children thanks to Amazon's app Audible - for the entire duration of UK school closures.
The material is full length books which are read by some of the world's most familiar voices, including Scarlett Johanssen who reads Alice in Wonderland, Thandie Newton, who offers up Jane Ayre and Rachel McAdams who reads Anne of Green Gables.
Audio books are a great way of holding children's attention and giving their eyes a break from device screens. A post on the Audible Facebook page says the content has been offered free to kids and parents to 'make life a little easier'.
