A Scots pensioner was clapped out of intensive care after a four-week battle with coronavirus.James Mackenzie, known as Jim, was admitted to NHS Forth Valley Royal Hospital last month after suffering with breathing difficulties and a high temperature.The 80-year-old, from Stenhousemuir, was diagnosed with pneumonia.Further tests revealed the grandfather-of-three also had Covid-19.However, after four long weeks at the hospital in Falkirk James was given a guard of honour by nurses who had been looking after him.Granddaughter Georgia Guy, 21, said: "He also has underlying conditions surrounding his breathing."It's such a relief to see the progress he has made."We were unable to visit him due to restrictions at the hospital for all visitors."L
