Selena Gomez unveiled a new version of her "Boyfriend" video on Wednesday (April 29) made entirely with dolls and a healthy dose of creativity.
Directed by the superstar herself, the inventive visual is a shot-for-shot recreation of the original "Boyfriend" clip, all the way down to Gomez's noir-ish drive through the Hollywood hills and trip to the dry cleaners for a vial of magic potion. "I want a boyfriend/ But I just keep hitting dead ends/ Try to take a shortcut, but I get cut/ Again and again/ I want a boyfriend/ Tell me, are there any good ones left?/ I keep findin' wrong ones, but I want love/ Again and again/ I want a boyfriend," the star sings in the stop-motion video, as the plastic version of her is subjected to a parade of dates
